NICO is the new face of the National Consumer Federation (NCF)
After more than 60 years, it was time for the NCF to evolve. While the NCF concentrated on consumer issues in the home particularly energy bills, smart home technologies, and regulatory enforcement. NICO builds on that legacy with a fresh, practical approach. NICO gives us an opportunity to build on the past, by looking at the realities and problems currently faced by consumers.
We remain deeply concerned about the challenges consumers face today. That’s why we’re especially focused on offering clear, accessible guidance about financing home improvements and selecting products and services that reduce energy use and lower household bills.
